The Open is set to return to Royal St George's from the 10th - 17th July 2011. It will be the 14th time the Championship will be played at the Club. The difficult Links course has always proven to be a challenge for the finest golfers, with American Ben Curtis playing in his debut Major, winning the Claret Jug last time the course held the Open in 2003.

Coastal Kent is home to some of the most challenging and testing courses in the world and our world-class courses have hosted famous visitors like Montgomery and Woods, along with major competitions like the Walker Cup and PGA Championship.

Around 180,000 visitors attended the 2003 Open in Sandwich so make sure whatever your plans are for the 2011 Open that you book your accommodation in advance!
